Educational Qualification:

  • Professor / Associate Professor: Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch, along with research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved journals.
  • Assistant Professor – Engineering: Candidates should have B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. degree in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the above degrees.
  • Assistant Professor – Science & Humanities: Qualifications shall be as per the applicable UGC notification and guidelines for faculty in Basic Sciences, Social Science and Humanities.
  • Lecturer: Candidates should have B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent, or Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.
  • Laboratory Assistant – Engineering: Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering or B.E. from a recognised university.
  • Laboratory Assistant – Science: Candidates should have B.Sc. in Chemistry / Physics from a recognised university.

Experience:

  • Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, out of which at least 3 years shall be post equivalent to that of Associate Professor. The prescribed research publication and Ph.D. supervision requirements shall also apply.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, out of which at least 2 years shall be post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 6 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved journals.
  • Laboratory Assistant – Engineering: Preferably two years of relevant experience.
  • Laboratory Assistant – Science: Preferably two years of relevant experience.
  • Qualification and experience requirements for teaching positions shall be as per applicable AICTE/UGC norms and may vary from time to time as per the guidelines issued by the respective bodies.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Pay scale would be in line with the 6th Pay Commission for the respective posts.
  • The University may offer different salary to candidates for the same post based on their credentials and experience.
