Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor: Academic Level-14, Pay Range Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200
  • Associate Professor: Academic Level-13A, Pay Range Rs. 1,31,400 – 2,17,100
  • Assistant Professor: Academic Level-10, Pay Range Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400
  • Principal, University Polytechnic: Level-13A1, Entry Pay Rs. 1,31,400/- with Special University Polytechnic Allowance of Rs. 4,500/- per month
  • Head of Section, University Polytechnic: Level-13A1, Entry Pay Rs. 1,31,400/-

Selection Process:

  • The University may constitute a Screening Committee to scrutinize applications and short-list candidates.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
  • The Academic Score prescribed for Assistant Professor under UGC Regulations will be considered for short-listing candidates for interview only.
  • Final selection shall be based on the performance in the interview only for all categories.
