About the Organization: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), a Central University located in Lucknow, was established by an Act of Parliament (No. 58 of 1994) and came into existence on January 10, 1996. The University provides higher education, teaching and research facilities across Humanities and Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Business, Law, Education, Environmental Sciences and allied areas. Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor: Academic Level 14, Pay Range Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200.
  • Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A, Pay Range Rs. 1,31,400 – 2,17,100.
  • Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10, Pay Range Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400.
  • Professor-cum-Resident Director: Academic Level 14, Pay Range Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200.
  • Associate Professor-cum-Deputy Director / Assistant Professor-cum-Assistant Director: As per UGC norms.

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisting of candidates for interview will be carried out as per University rules and the prescribed academic / research criteria.
  • The Academic Score specified under the applicable UGC Regulations will be used for shortlisting where prescribed, while final selection will be based on interview performance.
