Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should have a Master’s Degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian or foreign University.
  • Candidates must have qualified NET conducted by UGC / CSIR or a similar UGC-accredited test such as SLET / SET, or possess a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Rs.1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000 per month, as per UGC norms.

Selection Process:

  • Eligible candidates will be considered for empanelment based on merit.
  • The selection process may include a presentation/seminar/interview or a combination thereof.
  • Assessment may be based on evidence produced by candidates, including publications, research projects, patents and other relevant achievements.
  • Teaching assignments will be offered from the empanelled panel according to merit and the teaching requirements of the University.

Age Limit:

  • Superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
