Educational Qualification:

  • Educational qualifications shall be as per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and the applicable AICTE/NCTE/PCI norms.

Experience:

  • Experience requirements shall be as prescribed under the applicable UGC Regulations and AICTE/NCTE/PCI norms for the respective post and department.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Associate Professor: Level 13A as per the 7th Pay Commission.
  • Assistant Professor: Level 10 as per the 7th Pay Commission.

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be shortlisted/screened in accordance with the applicable UGC shortlisting/screening guidelines and AICTE/NCTE/PCI/University norms.
  • The University may restrict the number of candidates called for interview based on the recommendations of the Shortlisting/Screening Committee.
  • The University may assess teaching and/or research aptitude through a seminar or lecture in a classroom situation or discussion on the capacity to use the latest technology in teaching and research at the interview stage.
  • Assessment may be based on evidence produced by the applicant, including publications, project sanction and completion documents, patent-related documents and students’ Ph.D. award letters, wherever applicable.
