Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates for all faculty positions should possess a Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree level and a very good academic record throughout.
  • Candidates must also have a minimum of one year of industry/corporate work experience, either before or after obtaining their Ph.D.
  • Assistant Professor Grade II: Fresh Ph.D. candidates in the appropriate branch may apply. Candidates who have given the viva voce with provisional award of Ph.D. may also apply.

Experience:

  • Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, including at least 04 years at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, IISERs or equivalent institutions of comparable standards.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 06 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, including at least 03 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
  • Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 03 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, excluding the period of Ph.D. A fresh Ph.D. may be considered for appointment on contract basis.
  • Assistant Professor Grade II: Fresh Ph.D. candidates may apply, including candidates who have completed their viva voce with provisional award of Ph.D.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor: Level 14A: Rs.1,59,100 – 2,20,200 with Entry Pay of Rs.1,59,100.
  • Associate Professor: Level 13A2: Rs.1,39,600 – 2,11,300 with Entry Pay of Rs.1,39,600.
  • Assistant Professor (Grade I): Level 12: Rs.1,01,500 – 1,67,400 with Entry Pay of Rs.1,01,500.
  • Assistant Professor (Grade II): Level 11: Rs.68,900 – 1,17,200 with Rs.89,900 as minimum basic pay.
