• Assistant Professor: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject along with NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent accredited test such as SLET/SET, or a Ph.D. qualification as prescribed under applicable UGC Regulations. Candidates meeting the specified foreign Ph.D. eligibility may also be considered.
• Associate Professor: A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and the prescribed research and experience requirements.
• Professor: A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with the prescribed research publications and research score, along with the required teaching/research experience, or the prescribed outstanding professional route.
• Engineering & Technology: Qualifications shall be as per applicable UGC/AICTE norms. For Engineering and Technology branches, B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one degree is prescribed for Assistant Professor.
• Management / Business Administration: Qualifications shall be as prescribed under the applicable AICTE norms for the respective teaching position.

• Associate Professor: Minimum 08 years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor, along with the prescribed research publications and research score.
• Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at the equivalent level, along with the prescribed research publications, research score and doctoral guidance requirements.
• Engineering & Technology: Associate Professor requires a minimum of 08 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 02 years of post-Ph.D. experience. Professor requires a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 03 years at a post equivalent to Associate Professor, along with the prescribed research publications and Ph.D. guidance/publication requirements.
• Management / Business Administration: Experience shall be as prescribed under the applicable AICTE norms for the respective post.

As per norms

• The applications will be scrutinized by the Screening Committee based on the requirements of the respective post and department.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• The academic score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) under the applicable UGC Regulations will be considered for shortlisting, while selection will be based on performance in the interview.
• The Selection Committee may decide its own method of evaluating candidates during the interview.
