Educational Qualification:

  • Professor of Law: Candidates should have a Ph.D. Degree in Law and/or the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with published work of high quality and evidence of active research, including a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the applicable UGC Regulations.
  • Associate Professor of Law: Candidates should possess a good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in Law and/or the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines and a Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • Assistant Professor of Sociology:
    • Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
    • Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations, subject to the prescribed exemptions.

Area of Specialization:

  • Professor of Law: Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law, Trade Law, Banking Law, International Law and other private law subjects.
  • Associate Professor of Law: Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law, Trade Law, Banking Law, Arbitration and other private law subhects.

Experience:

  • Professor of Law: Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at an equivalent level.
  • Associate Professor of Law: Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in a university, college, or accredited research institution/industry.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Professor of Law: Pay Level-14A, INR 1,44,200/- to INR 2,18,200/-
  • Associate Professor of Law: Pay Level-13A, INR 1,31,400/- to INR 2,17,100/-
  • Assistant Professor of Sociology: Pay Level-10, INR 57,700/- to INR 1,82,400/-

Selection Process:

  • The university will shortlist candidates based on eligibility, qualifications, experience, and other criteria prescribed in the advertisement.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
  • Candidates must produce original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
  • The University may conduct a Written Test and/or Demo Lecture as part of the selection process.
