About the Organization: Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) was established on May 9, 2016, under the Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016, and is recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. SPU offers programmes across Medical, Paramedical, Technical, Science, Commerce, Management and Computer Applications, with 16 faculties, more than 10,000 students, and over 600 teaching staff. Educational Qualification:
- Director – Research & Innovation: Candidates should possess a Ph.D., preferably in Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Electronics & Communication, or Information Technology, with a strong research background.
- Director – Technical Courses: Candidates should possess a Ph.D., preferably in Engineering & Technology or Computer Applications, with a strong academic background.
- Director – Health Sciences: Candidates should have a Post Graduation Degree from a well-recognized University/Institution, preferably in Allopathy, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Dental, or Allied Health Sciences, along with a Ph.D. in the same relevant field.
- Director – Academics: Candidates should have a First Class Post Graduation Degree, preferably in Engineering & Technology, Computer Application, or Science & Technology, along with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

Experience:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 20 years of teaching/research/administrative experience, including at least 5 years as a Professor or at an equivalent pay level in a well-reputed institution.
Candidate Profile:
- Director – Research & Innovation:
- Strong record of research publications, patents, funded projects and innovation initiatives.
- Experience in research leadership, grants management and industry linkages.
- Director – Technical Courses:
- Experience with NBA/NAAC accreditation, innovation ecosystems and NEP implementation and administration.
- Strong publication record and leadership experience in academic bodies are preferred.
- Director – Health Sciences:
- Experience in clinical practice, policy-making, accreditation, administration and international collaboration is preferred.
- Strong publication and research record is required.
- Director – Academics:
- Substantial experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, academic planning, quality assurance, faculty development and institutional academic administration.
- Experience in handling academic matters at University level, preferably in a multidisciplinary University or comparable institution.
- Experience with NAAC accreditation, UGC Regulations, NEP 2020, ABC, NCrF and other higher-education reforms is desirable.
- Experience in NAAC, NIRF, GSIRF, IQAC, academic audits and institutional quality assurance is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, analytical and decision-making abilities.
