Indian Institute of Heritage (IIH), Noida, invites applications for Assistant Professor positions on a purely contractual basis vide Advertisement No. F. 24(19)/2026-IIH dated August 11, 2026. Vacancies are available in History of Art, Art Conservation, Museology, Archaeology, and Palaeography, Epigraphy and Numismatics, with a total of 09 posts. About the Organization: The National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology (NMI) is a Deemed to be University under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Institute focuses on higher education and specialized studies in History of Art, Conservation and Museology, preparing students for careers in museums, galleries, universities and related cultural institutions.

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Candidates should have cleared the UGC-NET or should possess a Ph.D. in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations.
- NET shall not be required for Master’s disciplines for which the test is not conducted by the UGC or a similar UGC-accredited body.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by QS, THE or ARWU may also be eligible.

- Basic Pay as per Academic Level 10 plus applicable Dearness Allowance.
Selection Process:
- Applications will first be screened for fulfilment of the essential qualifications.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the Academic Score prescribed under Appendix II, Table 3A of the UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Final selection will be based on academic record, relevant specialization and performance in the interview.
