About the Organization: Tripura University is a Central University in Suryamaninagar, Agartala, Tripura. It began as the Post-Graduate Wing of Calcutta University in 1976, became a State University in 1987, and was converted into a Central University in 2007. The University focuses on quality education, research, technological innovation and the preservation of Tripura’s indigenous art, folk, oral and cultural traditions. Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Guest Faculty shall be paid Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Selection Process:

  • Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on the prescribed eligibility criteria.
  • The list of shortlisted and ineligible candidates will be uploaded on the official University website.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Walk-in Interview.
  • The Walk-in Interview may commence from August 31, 2026. Candidates should regularly check the University website for the date, time slot, and other updates.
  • Shortlisted candidates must report two hours before the interview and produce original documents for verification.

Age Limit:

  • Superannuated teachers may also be considered for Guest Faculty assignment, subject to the maximum age limit of 70 years.
