Educational Qualification:

  • A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR.
  • Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.
  • Other eligibility conditions and exemptions shall be applicable as per the UGC/University of Delhi regulations mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

Experience:

  • Teaching/Post-Doctoral experience may contribute to the screening score as prescribed in the advertisement.
  • Experience rendered on temporary/ad-hoc/contractual/post-doctoral basis is considered subject to the conditions specified in the screening guidelines.
  • Experience as Guest Faculty will not be considered for the screening score.
Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Academic Pay Level 10 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be screened/shortlisted according to the prescribed screening guidelines.
  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo assessment through presentation followed by assessment by the duly constituted Selection Committee.
  • Final selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the interview before the Selection Committee.

  • For OBC/EWS & Women Candidates: Rs. 800
  • For SC/ST/PwBD Category Candidates: Rs. 600
