Educational Qualification:
- Joint Director: Doctoral degree in Horticulture, Forestry, or the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with a consistently good academic record.
- Professor: Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject along with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Assistant Librarian: Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade), along with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, 2018.

- Joint Director / Professor: Pay Matrix Level-14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200)
- Associate Professor: Pay Matrix Level-13A (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100)
- Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian: Pay Matrix Level-10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400)
