Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline with First Division in the preceding degree or equivalent.

Experience:
- For Assistant Professor Grade-I positions, candidates should have at least three years of teaching, research, and/or industrial experience after the award of the Ph.D. degree.
- Applicants having less than three years of post-Ph.D. experience will be considered for Assistant Professor Grade-II (Contract) positions.

- Pay Level-12 with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 1,01,500/- for Assistant Professor Grade-I.
- Pay Level-10 with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 70,900/- for Assistant Professor Grade-II (for candidates having no post-Ph.D. experience).
