Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in the appropriate branch/discipline.
- First Class in the preceding degree with an excellent academic record throughout.

Experience:
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or industrial experience, including at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or professional experience, including at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

- Professor: Academic Pay Level 14A, Cell-1 (Starting Basic Pay: ₹1,59,100 per month) as per the 7th CPC.
