• Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Electronics & Communication Engineering: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is desirable for the post of Assistant Professor and essential for the posts of Associate Professor and Professor.
• Business: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)/PGDM/C.A./ICWA/M.Com. with First Class or equivalent.
• Architecture & Landscape Design: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) with at least 60% marks; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Master’s Degree in Architecture or allied disciplines with at least 60% marks at either level. A valid Council of Architecture (CoA) Registration is mandatory.
• Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Dogri, Philosophy & Physics: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline along with NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.

• Professor (Civil Engineering): Minimum 10 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, out of which at least 3 years should be at a position equivalent to Associate Professor. Candidates should also possess the prescribed research publications and Ph.D. guidance experience as per AICTE norms.
• Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering): Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, out of which at least 2 years should be Post-Ph.D. Candidates should also possess the prescribed research publications as per AICTE norms.
• Business: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor should possess a minimum of two years of professional experience after obtaining the Master’s Degree.
• Architecture & Landscape Design: Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture should possess a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Architecture or allied disciplines should possess a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.

• Professor: Academic Pay Level-14 (7th CPC).
• Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level-13A (7th CPC).
• Assistant Professor: Academic Pay Level-10 (7th CPC).
