Educational Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant discipline from a recognized Indian or accredited foreign university.
  • Candidates should have cleared UGC NET / CSIR NET / AP-SLET / AP-SET wherever applicable.
  • Candidates possessing Ph.D. qualification in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET requirements as specified in the notification.
  • For Engineering disciplines, candidates should possess B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. with First Class in relevant disciplines.
  • Qualifications for Pharmacy positions shall be as per PCI norms and candidates must possess valid pharmacist registration wherever applicable.

Pay Scale/Salary:
  • Assistant Professor (Academic Level 10): Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400

Selection Process:

  • The final list of prima-facie eligible candidates for appearing screening/written test shall be displayed on the university website.
  • The schedule of screening/written test and details of examination centres will be notified by APPSC. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the APPSC website for updates regarding the recruitment process.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through notification on the university website, candidate recruitment portal account, or registered email ID.
  • The final selection for Assistant Professor posts shall be based solely on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
