Educational Qualification:
- UG, PG, and Ph.D. qualifications in relevant disciplines from recognized Universities / Institutes
- First Class required in UG and PG degrees
- Eligibility criteria as per NIT Recruitment Rules and Government of India norms
- Candidates having Ph.D. degree directly after their undergraduate degree from reputed Institutions / Universities will also be considered, if other norms are fulfilled.
- Candidates with Integrated Master’s / Integrated Ph.D. degree in the areas specified for the respective departments will also be considered.

Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of regular experience in a pay-scale position is required to be considered as valid work experience.
- Part-time, guest, visiting, temporary, or daily-wage experience will not be considered.
- Experience certificates must clearly mention duration of service and pay scale.
- Experience from reputed Central/State Institutions, NIRF-ranked Institutions, IIMs, and recognized international institutions will be considered.
- Post-Doctoral experience from reputed international/national institutions may be considered for Assistant Professor positions.
- Assistant Professor Grade-II – Pay Level 10
- Assistant Professor Grade-I – Pay Level 12
- Associate Professor – Pay Level 13A2
- Professor – Pay Level 14A
Selection Process:
- Applications will be shortlisted based on academic credentials and notified specialization areas.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for teaching presentation, research presentation, and personal interview.

Age Limit:
Fresh appointments beyond 60 years are generally considered only for distinguished candidates as per institute norms.
